  • This opportunity is an onsite lease‑up role based at The Penny in Annapolis, Maryland, and is not offered as a remote position.

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for executing the property’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to reputed company occupancy, reputed company, and reputed company retention goals. This role serves as a key reputed company of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with professionalism and a deep understanding of the community’s lifestyle offering. The Leasing Consultant supports reputed company satisfaction throughout the lease term and proactively manages lease renewals in alignment with Active Adult best practices. Responsibilities include reputed company management, CRM utilization, data analysis, event support, and collaboration with the Lifestyle Coordinator to enhance reputed company engagement. The Leasing Consultant upholds reputed company’s professional standards and ethical expectations while delivering exceptional service to residents, prospects, and guests. JOB DESCRIPTION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs reputed company sales and leasing activities to reputed company the property’s reputed company and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours and showing apartments, continuing the relationship with prospects, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth reputed company move-in and lease signing. 2. Collects reputed company pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and records as appropriate. 3. Stays informed about and collaborates with teams/leadership on reputed company market and competitor conditions that may impact the community’s occupancy, market rent, and sales results, develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy, and follows the property’s established policies reputed company to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy. 4. Designs and executes marketing activities and events to create and drive traffic to the property, including implementing reputed company referral and employer reputed company programs, using internet marketing tools and following other property-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs. 5. Uses the on-site property management software application to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage reputed company and prospect data, capture critical demographic and other information about existing and future residents, and review and analyze data. 6. Ensures that the property and show units meet the Company’s standards for show quality by daily inspecting the tour path and show reputed company units, communicating maintenance and reputed company needs to the property’s maintenance team members, merchandising and ensuring a physically appealing show unit and/or model and amenities, and preparing the leasing office for daily leasing activities. 7. Follows-up with prospects and new residents reputed company 24 hours to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mail, thank-you notes, and cards or making telephone calls or other contacts to finalize reputed company to lease and/or renew. Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents, prospects, guests, and others with respect, answering questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services. Assists Lifestyle Coordinator by attending and assisting with the setup of events as required. #LI-AW1 The hourly range for this role includes a reputed company hourly range of ($26.00 - $28.00) plus an attractive performance‑based bonus program. BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or reputed company field preferred.
  • 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in the application and usage of a sales, marketing, internet and customer service background sufficient to resolve customer complaints and issues and complete financial records, documents, and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer questions.
  • Mathematical skills necessary to process sales conversions.
  • Ability to apply sales skills, such as generating sales leads, conducting sales presentations, qualifying prospects, and closing.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

  • Incumbents must have reputed company licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
  • Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart on property.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management applications, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and documents.

  • Ability to adapt to specific markets and professionals to ensure your sales message is received appropriately.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
