Job Description

The FSE III/IV performs Calibrations/Qualifications, Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on small laboratory instrumentation, including balances and pH meters, and chromatography systems, including HPLC's, GC's and UPLC's.

Responsibilities

• reputed company troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair both in the field and in the lab of various types of laboratory equipment including balances, pH meters, environmental monitoring equipment, plate readers, GC's, HPLC's and UPLC's.
• Travel to customer sites to reputed company pipette calibrations and PM's as necessary.
• Manage personal parts inventory effectively.
• Provide feedback to Manager regarding any issue impacting service delivery, particularly issues impacting turnaround times.
• Complete administrative paperwork and reports promptly and accurately.
• Follow good documentation practices (GDP) as applicable to daily activities.
• Contact customers on time and schedule service reputed company.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with clients and other internal and external parties.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree in a reputed company science field (e.g., chemistry, analytical chemistry, electronic engineering, biotechnology, or similar) plus 3-5 years (FSE III) or 5-7 years (FSE IV) experience in a reputed company field, preferably as a Field Service Technician
• Ability to work in the US without immediate or potential future sponsorship
• Experience in providing field service support on GC's, HPLC's and/or UPLC's.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment and reputed company tasks in various lab environments
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication
• Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem solving
• Must be self-motivated and proactive
• Valid drivers license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to travel reputed company customer territory up to 5 days per week Monday-Friday. Overnight travel as needed.
