Job Overview

The Safety Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Safety department by processing reports, collecting data, generating reports, following up on corrective actions, investigating incidents, and participating in special projects as assigned. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation safety programs, operational familiarity with flight operations, and excellent technical and data analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Safety Programs and collaborate with Safety Department Managers concerning safety activities
• Review, process, and analyze reputed company reports received reputed company the safety reporting system (Operational/Irregularity, ASAP, Fatigue)
• Analyze technical data from hazards, incidents, and occurrences, and identify, and interpret trends or patterns in reputed company data sets
• Act as safety auditor for the Internal Evaluation Program, Safety Investigations, and high-risk areas of operations
• Track, analyze, and interpret data outputs from the Company's safety programs
• Assist in the management of the company databases for the purpose of enhanced airline safety
• Assist the Safety Team in any necessary investigations
• Provide technical expertise to Management concerning data models, database design development, and data mining
• Prepare relevant reports and communicate safety-reputed company data to managers and line employees in support of the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the Company's Safety Management System (SMS)
• Act as a member of the Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) Monitoring Team, reputed company aircraft data collection (along with Technical Operations), reputed company FOQA data analysis and trend identification
• Maintain FOQA Database and ensure organization compliance with FOQA guide
• Assist in the reputed company development of the risk identification and safety risk assessment schemes of the Company
• Prepare studies and research regarding aviation safety trends
• Any other duties assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of Aviation Safety programs (ASAP, FOQA, LOSA, FRMP, IEP, VDRP)
• Operational familiarity with Flight Operations, reputed company, Inflight, and Maintenance
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, minimum equipment lists, aircraft reputed company procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Knowledge of Safety Management System requirements, risk management, safety assurance, safety reporting, and safety promotion
• Basic knowledge of Crew Resource reputed company and aviation reputed company factors
• Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite of products
• Excellent writing skills, including report writing, document writing, and correspondence with government agencies
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and instructional skills
• Strong technical and data analysis skills; Ability to reputed company statistical analysis and audits

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field
• Previous experience in airline operations
• FAA aircraft dispatcher, pilot, and/or A&P certificate
