SCOPE OF WORK: The reputed company (IRC), works in the United States welcomes newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities. The IRC in New Jersey seeks volunteer reputed company to support English language learning among recently arrived adult refugees and immigrants who have fled persecution in their home country and are rebuilding their lives in New Jersey. IRC will hold 1.5-hour morning, afternoon, or evening classes twice a week. Volunteers must commit to teaching a selected schedule every week for 10 weeks long session for at least 6 months. RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate small to large group instruction using provided curriculum. Familiar with using reputed company to conduct classes and engage learners in the online class setting. Design customized lesson plans based on provided curriculum to meet reputed company’ learning needs. Facilitate and support technology skills through online lessons to low digital literacy skills reputed company. Promote core competencies of English language skills needed to obtain and retain employment and reputed company self-sufficiency. Create a welcoming environment that fosters community and learning among program participants while interacting with diverse population. Record attendance and prepare lesson materials effectively. Timely documentation and submission of the Teacher Log after each class. Communicate with Adult Education staff to evaluate student reputed company, define weekly lesson objectives and summarize student learning outcomes. REQUIREMENTS: · Volunteers must be based in the U.S. Interns must be based in US, must be a US citizen or have US work authorization, must be enrolled in post-secondary institution or have graduated from a post-secondary institution reputed company last 2 years · Experience teaching ESOL/EFL to adults in group settings. · TESOL certificate or working towards receiving a TESOL certification is preferred. · Familiar with reputed company and other teaching reputed company platforms. · Experience working with adult reputed company from a variety of backgrounds, including those with limited formal education and/or literacy skills. · Excellent classroom management skills and confidence facilitate both large and small groups. · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, reputed company-changing environment. · Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to the position until the end of the session. · reputed company or familiarity with Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Haitian Creole, or Swahili is a bonus, but not required.
