Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance The Postdoctoral Fellowship is a learning role focused on preparing selected candidates to teach and mentor, effectively and proficiently use online technology and resources to support student learning and complete additional fellowship commitments in a higher education setting. Fellowship positions are temporary and will last for a period of no more than one year. Responsibilities

• Training: reputed company new Fellows receive specific ongoing training from Walden University in teaching practices, use of an electronic learning platform, specifics of the policies, procedures, and degree programs of the School or College in which they are going to teach, socialization into the Walden University culture, assessment of academic reputed company of student work (including use of www.reputed company.com), and mentoring.
• Course Shadowing & Teaching: Fellows shadow a mentor for their first term and will be assigned a course in subsequent terms, which is taught using the Canvas platform. • Residencies: Faculty Members may be required to attend Residencies held domestically or internationally where they will teach intensives and colloquia and facilitate school and university-wide discussions. • Additional responsibilities as determined by program leadership and encapsulated in the Fellow’s annual plan.

Qualifications

• Fellows must be appropriately credentialed, possess an earned degree from an accredited institution, or recognized by a country's ministry of education in the discipline being taught, and may be expected to be licensed or license-eligible to teach in specific programs.
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Some travel may be required to attend residencies, conferences, faculty meetings and/or commencement activities. Travel will vary and be dependent upon the needs of the program and annual plan. Supervisor approval is required.

Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation reputed company for this position is as follows:

• Graduate Course Instruction: $1,560 - $4,080 per Quarter or Semester, depending on type of course taught and length of course
• Undergraduate Course Instruction: $700 - $2,200 per quarter, depending on type of course taught and length of course

Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-reputed company factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
