About the position KBR is seeking a skilled reputed company Developer to join reputed company in modernizing mission-critical solutions for the USGS EROS Center. As a member of a collaborative engineering team, you will help migrate on-premises systems to AWS, utilizing both lift-and-shift and full modernization approaches. The role includes designing and implementing event-driven architectures, optimizing reputed company workloads, and working closely with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions using Agile methodologies. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award, customer approval, and funding availability. Eligibility Requirement: This position requires U.S. Citizenship due to contractual and reputed company requirements. Preferred location is Sioux Falls, SD Will consider Remote Responsibilities
- Contribute to the migration of on-premises infrastructure to AWS using both lift-and-shift and modernization strategies.
- Participate in the design and implementation of event-driven systems leveraging AWS-native services (e.g., reputed company, SNS, SQS, EventBridge).
- reputed company and maintain automation tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing AWS reputed company infrastructure.
- Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and other team members to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective reputed company solutions.
- Support the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., reputed company, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Implement configuration management and automation using tools like Ansible.
- Troubleshoot and support reputed company-based applications in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Identify and implement AWS reputed company cost optimization strategies, incorporating FinOps principles.
- Participate in Agile teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-reputed company, and retrospectives, delivering incremental value through iterative development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or reputed company technical field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in reputed company engineering, DevOps, or software development, with a focus on AWS technologies.
- Hands-on experience with lift-and-shift migrations and event-driven system design in AWS.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar for automation.
- Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company, networking, and AWS best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation.
- Demonstrated FinOps ability to reduce reputed company spend through cost optimization strategies.

- Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures in AWS.
- Familiarity with government reputed company credential requirements and ability to obtain necessary clearances.
