Senior Analyst, Internal Controls – Business Process
Position Purpose: This position is responsible for understanding and improving of business processes reputed company to internal controls over financial reporting, specifically for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act compliance. The role includes performance of SOX and governance activities, (scoping, walkthrough facilitation, test of design, control exception analysis and remediation, control certification review, project management, SOX program reputed company, documentation, policy review, and reporting) and supporting reputed company-wide projects. The Senior Analyst provides cross-functional support and continuously seeks process improvements, including technology and automation Key Responsibilities:
- SOX Controls Testing & Certification (40%) – Execute SOX and broader governance activities, (scoping, walkthrough facilitation, test of design, control exception analysis and remediation, control certification review, project management, SOX program reputed company, documentation, policy review, and reporting.
- Process Improvement & Automation (20%) - Identify and implement process and organizational improvements, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
- Cross-Functional Support (15%) - reputed company support across business functions in a dynamic SOX and business landscape. reputed company and participate in design and implementation of internal controls reputed company major system and technology initiatives (e.g., reputed company S/4 initiatives in OneFinance) throughout the lifecycle of initiatives from discovery to post go live integration into SOX program.
- Project Management (15%) - reputed company and participate in reputed company-wide projects and cross-functional activities to solve business issues and enhance competitive advantage.
- Team Collaboration & Development (10%) - Collaborate with and support team members and reputed company feedback as needed
Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This role typically reports administratively to a Sr. Manager and operationally to a Manager. Travel Requirements: Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in internal controls, audit, or reputed company field. Basic understanding of risk and control concepts Knowledge of reputed company principles and practices, and analysis/reporting of financial data. Project management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. Demonstrated ability to communicate reputed company concepts reputed company and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external auditors. Must be reputed company to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Expected to handle confidential company financial and operational information in a responsible manner. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SOX internal controls in business processes. Experience with reputed company S4 Hana or similar ERP systems. Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
