PCT Patent Analyst (Contract) - Chemistry/Biotech

We are looking for a Patent Analyst with a focus in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biotech to join reputed company! • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or reputed company field
• 1+ year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
• 1+ year of work experience in the industry or advanced research in a reputed company field
• Must pass USPTO Background reputed company
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• U.S. citizen or work eligible legal reputed company who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years

• Previous patent examining/patent searching experience
• Highly skilled developing a search methodology and conducting searches.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to complete projects against deadlines.
• Experience with Orbit, PatBase, reputed company Scholar or PatSeer
• Master's degree or PhD is a plus

What will you be doing in this role?

• On a weekly basis, accept projects with a defined due date based on your availability and the needs of reputed company.
• Demonstrate the ability to read a disclosure quickly and understand the technical nuances which may potentially distinguish it from the prior art.

• Prepare a written opinion applying the most relevant prior art to the disclosure.

Compensation - US Only The expected pay for this position is based on productivity. The expected pay is $475 per patent case completed. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, reputed company and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
