Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

You’ll be joining a dynamic team taking Azure reputed company solutions for the DoD to the next level. In this opportunity you’ll help manage and design Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions supporting 40+ developer groups employing cutting-edge technology stacks. As part of the team, you’ll be tasked with implementing, managing and optimizing AVDs and Virtual Machines (VM), with time to learn & train on existing solutions while driving speed & capability enhancements for our warfighters. reputed company provides a reputed company work-life balance with 3-day weekends and reputed company. • Architecting/managing secure, high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices.
• Implementing, managing & optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelines.
• Designing & implementing approaches to continuously update & secure AVD resources.
• Developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a reputed company environment.
• Documenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration.
• Learning and adapting to new Azure reputed company resources, with opportunities for formal training.

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience in Azure and AVD technologies or similar Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Experience with Windows Installer technologies and implementation on shared VM resources.
• Experience architecting & designing Azure-based solutions.
• Understanding of high-availability environments such as clustering, failover, and geographic redundancy .
• Understanding of network design & topologies including edge services & reputed company-to-reputed company VPNs reputed company reputed company environs.
• Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, reputed company, Visio, & PowerPoint); demonstrable documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• reputed company Azure, AWS, RHEL, and/or Windows Server certification(s).
• Proficient with a scripting programming language like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Proficiency with Configuration Management techniques using Ansible.
• Experience with managed Anti-virus tools like McAfee and reputed company ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Familiarization with Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation.
• reputed company Tools Suite experience (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket).
