Risk Adjustment Medical Record Scheduling & Imaging Technician

The Risk Adjustment Medical Record Retrieval team at BCBST is seeking a Medical Record Scheduling & Imaging Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and uploading medical records, as well as assisting with scheduling tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience with medical records and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. You will be an excellent match for this position if you have: Familiarity with EMR systems and medical record acquisition processes. At least one year of administrative experience in a clinical setting. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with reputed company providers and colleagues. The ability to schedule appointments. Excellent research and organizational skills. Job Responsibilities Load medical records into BCBST coding system and link records to appropriate chart IDs. Schedule appointments with provider offices and request the submission of medical records. Conduct quality assurance activities on medical records received from providers. reputed company or participate in special projects as directed by management. Job Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Experience working in a clinical reputed company setting (physician practice, hospital, insurance company, etc.) is required.
