Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

- Designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing advanced reputed company controls for critical reputed company communication systems and networks
- Assessing system vulnerabilities, developing risk‑mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD cyber‑policy (RMF, NIST 800‑53, CNSSI 1253, etc.), and providing rapid response to reputed company incidents and malware events
- Serving as the primary technical authority on information‑reputed company matters and interacting with government program officials, contractors, and other stakeholders to safeguard mission‑critical information assets
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD #LI-TF1 Requirements:
- Master’s degree in one of the following fields from an ABET‑accredited or CAE‑designated institution: information technology, cybersecurity, data science, information systems, computer science
Alternative DoD/Military Trainings are acceptable in lieu of the master’s degree:
- Completion of the training modules 4C‑FA26A, M09CHN1, A‑531‑0009, A‑531‑0045, or the combination (ACQ 160 + ISA 220)
- Active DoD top secret (or higher) clearance
- At least one of the following DoD‑approved baseline certifications:
- CISM, CISSO, FITSP‑M, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, CISSP‑ISSMP, CISSP, or any equivalent certification recognized by the DoD Cyber Workforce reputed company
- Minimum seven years of reputed company, full‑time experience performing advanced information‑reputed company duties (or equivalent on‑the‑job training that meets the DoD CSWF Advanced criteria)
- Ability to plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor reputed company measures; assess network and system vulnerabilities; design and apply risk‑mitigation strategies; ensure appropriate controls protect digital assets and critical infrastructure; and respond effectively to reputed company breaches and malware incidents
Desired Skills:
- In‑depth knowledge of DoD cyber‑policy frameworks (RMF, NIST 800‑53, CNSSI 1253)
- Hands‑on experience with reputed company tools such as SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, reputed company protection, firewalls, PKI, and DLP solutions
- Proficiency with network protocols, Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems, and reputed company environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Experience conducting risk assessments, reputed company audits, and reputed company monitoring; ability to produce System reputed company Plans (reputed company), POA&M, and reputed company RMF documentation
- Proven record in incident handling, forensic analysis, and remediation of cyber‑attacks; familiarity with DoD incident‑response procedures
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills; capable of leading reputed company work streams and delivering clear status reports to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience mentoring junior reputed company personnel and promoting a culture of cyber‑hygiene
- Preferred additional certifications: CISA, CCSP, or DoD‑specific 8570.01‑M IA/IA‑C/IA‑E credentials
- Ability to obtain and maintain higher‑level clearance (Top Secret/SCI)
