Role Summary As head of an 11-person team, the Communications Officer develops and executes comprehensive communication strategies that build public awareness, strengthen brand recognition, and provide creative services across the organization. This role manages reputed company public-facing channels, serves as organizational spokesperson during crises, and ensures messaging consistency while coordinating closely with the Marketing Officer on integrated campaigns.
Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with Marketing Officer to provide creative assets supporting recruitment campaigns
- Cultivate media relationships and position leadership as thought leaders in humanitarian coordination
- Direct content strategy supporting fundraising campaigns and donor communications
- Ensure brand consistency across reputed company channels and organizational materials
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize strategies based on engagement data
- Manage communications budget and allocate resources across team priorities
- Report to Executive Director and Board on communications performance and strategy

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or reputed company field
- 7+ years reputed company communications experience with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-channel communication strategies
- Experience managing creative teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Strong background in nonprofit, humanitarian, or mission-driven organizations preferred

- Experience with crisis communications and rapid response situations
