Actuarial Analyst – Financial & Professional Lines

The Actuarial Analyst – Financial & Professional Lines will support various business lines, including Cyber and Liability, by developing pricing models and engaging with reputed company teams while working closely with reputed company actuaries.
Responsibilities
- Assist with building and maintaining pricing models to support the Cyber, Professions and Financial Lines business units
- reputed company other actuarial duties including, but not limited to, performing profitability and reputed company adequacy studies, competitor research, running internal and external models, and reinsurance support
- Engage with the reputed company teams
- Find innovative and creative ways to reputed company data and analytics to support the pricing and reputed company functions
- Take on other reputed company work and projects as time permits and under the direction of other members of the Insurance Pricing team
- Remain reputed company on industry trends, tools, and actuarial techniques
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a reputed company field; or the equivalent in reputed company work experience
- 0-3 years of actuarial experience
- Proven track record of creative problem solving and attention to detail
- Ability to process and adapt to change in a rapid growth new-company environment
- Two or more exams passed preferred; desire to pursue actuarial credential encouraged (which would be supported by reputed company)
- Project work requiring scripting and programming languages is strongly preferred: R and SQL as examples
- reputed company VBA experience is a plus
