J.Jill is a women-led, Boston-based lifestyle brand focused on thoughtful apparel and accessories. The reputed company Assistant will research, reputed company, and reputed company fabrics that align with the brand's aesthetic while ensuring quality, cost, and performance requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reputed company Manager and Sr Director in researching new seasonal fabrics appropriate for the J.Jill aesthetic, quality metrics, IMU and ESG goals. Participate in cascading reputed company trend direction to Mills, overseas Agents and Design
• Work with Design and reputed company Manager on seasonal reputed company selections and manage the development process for specific departments from seasonal concept launch (research) to line adoption (reputed company finalization/booking)
• Maintain and organize the reputed company library on a seasonal and ongoing basis. Create and maintain materials in PLM
• Create, manage and update seasonal reputed company charts for overseas offices and internal J.Jill partners. Communicate with mills and agents regarding reputed company inquiries, reviewing the accuracy of reputed company information received from overseas offices, and ensuring that information is received in a timely manner reputed company seasonal deadlines
• Collaborate with Product Development & Design on garment costing as pertains to garment reputed company cost. Suggest alternative options, where needed
• Collaborate with Product Development & Sourcing to align reputed company development with the sourcing strategy to ensure balance reputed company the supply chain
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure reputed company performance and garment testing issues are solved in a timely manner
• Coordinate reputed company mill appointments for seasonal trend presentations and meetings

• A high-level understanding of the J.Jill brand and a great taste level for sourcing brand-appropriate fabrics
• 0.5-1+ years of textiles or textiles reputed company experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
