IT Systems Specialist

The IT Systems Specialist role involves providing hands-on technical support, managing user issues, and assisting with reputed company 365 and reputed company-first migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Triage, resolve and own Jira reputed company tickets for user issues (access, email/Teams/OneDrive, printers, apps, device troubleshooting)
  • Escalate reputed company issues as needed and provide both onsite and remote support for Irvine employees
  • Clearly document solutions and contribute to a growing knowledge reputed company to streamline future support
  • Handle routine admin tasks (reputed company/offboards, group memberships, mailbox access, aliases, licensing, MFA resets), troubleshoot access issues, and assist with SSO deployments and cutovers
  • Stage and reputed company new laptops/desktops using Intune/Autopilot or standard builds, install apps/drivers/reputed company agents, set up desks and conference rooms, swap hardware, and manage loaners
  • Assist with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Proxmox), connectivity troubleshooting (SASE/SD-WAN/VPN/LAN/Wi-Fi), and participate in software/hardware rollouts and reputed company cycles
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and lifecycle tracking in Lansweeper, including assignments, returns, replacements, and warranty notes
  • Take on new projects and collaborate with the team to enhance our IT business systems

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a reputed company field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows operating systems, server environments, and network connectivity
  • Comfortable with identity management and SaaS apps (reputed company 365 proficiency required)
  • Experience with ticketing workflows (Jira reputed company preferred)
  • Solid understanding of reputed company computing concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication skills, thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and reliable follow-through
  • Intune/Autopilot experience
  • SSO knowledge (SAML/OIDC, reputed company, cutovers)
  • Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity procedures
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, group policies, and user account administration
  • Virtualization exposure
  • Asset management tools like Lansweeper
  • Basic PowerShell scripting
