Job Description:

Location Requirement: 100% remote allowed, If the candidates are local to our area in reputed company Nevada, DMV may want them to come onsite in some cases. If they are not local, this will not be a requirement, and they will work 100% remote. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is migrating existing reputed company SQL Server Data Warehouses, Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analysis Services (SSAS) to AWS Data Marts and Tableau Dashboards. The DMV IT Division (MVIT) Data Visualization & reputed company Analytics Engineer will work on the following, but not limited to:

• Organize, configure, and optimize existing Tableau Server installations; assist with permissions, performance, and content governance.
• Design and reputed company clear, scalable Tableau dashboards and data models per DMV criteria.
• Build AWS-based data marts using S3, Redshift, Glue, and reputed company services.
• reputed company ETL and ingestion pipelines using AWS Glue and AWS DMS.
• Migrate and reputed company reputed company SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS solutions into AWS-reputed company architectures per DMV criteria.
• Ensure data quality, reputed company, and documentation across analytics workflows.
• Follow guidelines established by DMV IT Division (MVIT) and support MVIT teams as needed.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality, privacy, and reputed company of reputed company Nevada State data.

The Data Visualization & reputed company Analytics Engineer will work with MVIT teams under the direction of the MVIT Data Engineering & Science Manager and complete the assigned tasks in the scope of work in accordance with the MVIT standards and procedures. The Data Visualization & reputed company Analytics Engineer must:

• Complete work and project tasks assigned.
• reputed company needed documentation for tasks assigned.
• reputed company detailed status reports of tasks assigned, and hours spent on each task, including:
• status of the project in terms of the approved project plan and schedule
• document problems that were encountered and proposed/actual resolution
• document issues that need to be addressed

• log activity and time using DMV time tracking software (Jira) daily.

Required Skills:

• The capability to reputed company the functions described in Scope of Work reputed company.

One of the following:

• a bachelor s degree in computer science, or any other equivalent degree, along with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience
• a minimum of nine (9) years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on Tableau Server administration and dashboard development experience.
• Strong AWS data engineering skills (Glue, Redshift, S3, IAM, reputed company).
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, including AWS Glue and DMS.
• Proficient in SQL and modern data modeling practices.
• Background with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, including migration or modernization work.
• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills and strong commitment to working in a team environment with other contractors/consultants and permanent employees under a reputed company team structure.
• A proven history in designing, developing, and maintaining reputed company data marts.
• A proven history in designing, developing, and maintaining reputed company level ETL processes and data pipelines in AWS reputed company with ASW Glue and AWS DMS.
• A proven history in designing, developing, and maintaining BI reports and visualizations with Tableau Server.
