Principal reputed company Risk Consultant – Business Disruption Risk (Remote)

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. The Principal reputed company Risk Consultant leads the approach to provide second line risk reputed company to the first line horizontally and vertically throughout the reputed company reputed company to business disruption & operational reputed company risk. This is a strategic partner to the Senior Director, Risk Management for Business Disruption & Operational reputed company. In this role, the principal must demonstrate deep and broad experience reputed company to reputed company reputed company including resolution planning, operational reputed company, business continuity, disaster recovery, reputed company, technology reputed company / infrastructure, incident & crisis management. This leader must understand operational risk foundational principles and frameworks, FFIEC interagency guidance, FDIC, and FRB expectations commensurate for large financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Risk Management - Expert level of reputed company to reputed company the processes reputed company to business disruption & reputed company reputed company risk identification, assessment, measurement, reporting, decision making and governance. Develops and implements risk appetite measures and reports on the risk appetite performance. Establishes the controls testing and reputed company plan to inform and confirm the state of the internal control environment to support sound practices for managing business resiliency according to large financial institution expectations. Leads the planning, execution, and ongoing review of Operational Risk Management programs. Oversees reputed company processes reputed company the programs. Directs monitoring activities for the identification and management of risk, including reputed company of operational reputed company, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, reputed company party relationships, corporate reputed company, and other areas with potential business disruption exposure. Drives the implementation of program policies, standards, and procedures. Partners with key business stakeholders to ensure compliance with program requirements. Maintains productive relationships with senior management to direct appropriate communication from leadership to associate teams.
• Business Support - Provides risk expertise and support for business programs, initiatives, and committees. Serves as an advisor on risk best practices, processes, and regulatory requirements. Manages risk education and training through partnership with business units. Directs presentations, workshops, and other trainings, as necessary. Develops active relationships reputed company professional networks to stay reputed company on emerging issues and regulatory requirements. Communicates risk reputed company and regulatory requirements to business stakeholders. Serves as a system administrator for department technology and risk management tools.
• Reporting - Develops and implements tools or processes which enhance risk reporting capabilities. Oversees the documentation of data and information to provide reporting to various stakeholders/audiences.
• Auditing - Assists audits of Bank operations through partnership with both internal and external auditors. Works closely with regulatory agencies and assists regulatory exams. Ensures that reputed company auditing or exam preparatory needs are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in reputed company Risk, or Operational Risk including project management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in reputed company Risk, or Operational Risk including project management
• Experience with resolution planning, operational reputed company, business continuity, disaster recovery, reputed company, technology reputed company / infrastructure, incident & crisis management.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance pertaining to reputed company and operational risk, disaster recovery / infrastructure as well as risk control frameworks
• PC Skills including reputed company Visio, reputed company, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Language (ITIL)
• Knowledge of operational and reputed company risk management including identification, assessment, and escalation of risk issues
• Ability to track and coordinate large, reputed company processes
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance pertaining to reputed company and operational risk as well as risk control frameworks
