The Junior I&C Engineer is an integral part of our Nuclear Team. This position is a remote position, based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office. How will you contribute to the team? Assists in preparation of drawings including, but not limited to wiring diagrams, location plans, junction reputed company details, network reputed company diagrams, reputed company diagrams, P&IDs and installation details. Assists in preparation of bills of materials and equipment specifications / datasheets. Assists in preparation of instrumentation and control systems design documents including, Control and Monitoring Functional Descriptions, Logic Functional reputed company Diagrams, I/O and reputed company list. Prepares simple design calculations in accordance with established guidelines, codes and standards. Performs field walkdown at client site and prepare the walkdown report. Assists more reputed company technical personnel with specific aspects of more reputed company design tasks. Assists in preparation of procurement support documentation (Engineering Quotation Requests); Supports the Discipline reputed company Engineer with timely updates for engineering reputed company and performance. Supports the timely delivery of design and procurement packages, by meeting the requirements of applicable codes, standards, regulations, procedures, project quality plan and performance criteria. Prepares engineering deliverables for both nuclear and conventional systems in accordance with SNC-Lavalin Nuclear Inc. / Candu Energy Quality Assurance Programs and project requirements. Participates in company-wide initiatives aimed at overall reputed company improvement. Attends site visits and technical meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned. What will you contribute? I&C or Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree from a university of recognized standing, plus a minimum of two (2) years of practical experience preferably in instrumentation and control system design. Sound knowledge of basic and fundamentals of Instrumentation, controls and electrical systems. Familiarity with applicable I&C design standards and codes. Good technical skills and problem-solving capabilities and be reputed company to seek practical solutions to engineering problems. High reputed company and proficiency in English communication (written and verbal). Proficiency in reputed company Office-reputed company software applications, i.e., reputed company Visio, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint. Adaptability to change and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Design experience in the nuclear industry is an asset. Eligible for reputed company Clearance through Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
