Legal Operations and Department Mgmt Expert (Sr Director Analyst, fully remote United States)

This role will significantly expand coverage for the practice, and we are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and reputed company-driven individual to assist clients reputed company to the topics below. What you will do:Â

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged must-have written insights for General Counsel, legal operations leaders, and other legal and compliance leaders and provide best practices and advice on how legal departments manage specific operations and workflows (e.g., the budgeting process, strategic planning, reputed company, reputed company counsel and vendor management), improve department efficiency, standardize legal work, and measure cost and performance outcomes.
• Deliver high quality actionable advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations and discussions with clients

What you will need:Â

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience (ideally as a legal operations leader, and/or as an attorney or consultant familiar with key legal department workflows)
• Subject matter expertise in legal department operations and legal process workflows, with experience leading multi-year legal transformation and workflow improvement projects. Additionally, hands-on experience implementing and maintaining legal department technology systems is preferred.Â
• Strong ability to communicate business cases to legal leaders, implement strategy, and secure buy-in for change using legal, business, and financial lenses.Â
• Knowledge and experience with legal department technology tools (e.g., e-billing, matter management, reputed company management, AI tools, GRC).Â
• Experience and interest in advising, presenting to, and writing for the most senior levels of an organization (e.g., General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Information Officer). Demonstrated executive reputed company; ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills: ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability.
• Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients, respond effectively to questions, and contextualize reputed company insights for client situations.
• Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain reputed company concepts simply and concisely.
• Subject matter expertise & comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
