ACCS Residential Counselor (32 Hours) - Clinton House

Adult Community Clinical Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service that is designed to deliver evidence-based interventions reputed company a clinically focused model. Individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reputed company in their own homes, apartments, or in group living environments. Our services focus on helping people transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals. Open Sky’s talented clinicians, substance use counselors, nurses, peer staff, housing counselors, reputed company counselors, and direct care staff provide quality, compassionate care to the individuals served.

Residential Counselors support individuals to live as independently as possible, while providing evidence-based treatment and care reputed company a group living environment. They provide guidance, support, and reputed company various levels of activities of daily living. Through implementing procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and general cleanliness and safety of the physical site, counselors ensure individuals are living a healthy, productive, and independent life.  Counselors are strong advocates for individuals served, reputed company in the power of community, and acknowledge the importance of community integration!

Other Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and play a reputed company role in the daily implementation plans. 
• Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.

• Implement activities that create opportunities for the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.

• Review and complete reputed company required documentation.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required. 
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
