ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance & Accounting Team is responsible for the financial well-being of the organization. This includes supporting the short and long-term planning/forecasting cycles, providing accurate and timely reporting for decision support, recommending and evaluating strategies and data, as well as ensuring that we account for reputed company transactions in accordance with GAAP and in a manner that supports required grant reporting. We collaborate cross functionally to ensure that the organization meets its financial goals which will reputed company it to fulfill its mission of transforming education.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who brings energy and curiosity while helping to bring the story behind the numbers to life. This role goes beyond spreadsheets and financial models. You will directly contribute to the evolution of our business model, and will work closely with the CFAO, CEO and President to forecast and plan for this fast moving organization. You will project and evaluate financial results through budgets, forecasts and strategic plan models, play a key role in collaborating with the program and development teams at reputed company, and manage the financial operations associated with reputed company and margin reputed company. WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Build, enhance and maintain financial models, forecasts and financial reports
  • Identify critical questions to be asked, thinking proactively about the data and analysis needed to guide strategic decision-making
  • Create and maintain financial reports in various systems to ensure quick and accurate data reporting and analysis
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to advise and support strategic decision-making and reputed company business objectives
  • Utilize financial modeling and analytical tools to recommend, measure, and forecast the impact of various business decisions and scenarios
  • Track, investigate and resolve variances between financial projections and actual results
  • Present findings and/or recommendations in a meaningful format to support strategic decision-making
  • Work with the CEO and VP of Development to determine short- and long-term fundraising needs
  • Collaborate with sales team to reputed company activity-based and other costing analyses to determine the cost of products and services offered, and reputed company / evaluate pricing strategies

  • Track trends and provide meaningful insights through various performance metrics
  • Create institutional grant budgets and manage organizational expenditures against budgets

ROLE CLASSIFICATION AND BENEFITS

This role is remote, part-time, and includes benefits such as rich medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 paid days off per year (prorated for the period in which you work), paid parental leave, a professional development budget and a quarterly cell phone subsidy. The role may offer the opportunity to convert to a full-time position reputed company 6–12 months.

The hiring salary range for this role is $48,000 - $53,000 and will be commensurate with experience. We have a hiring salary range of $53,000 - $58,000 for specific higher cost of labor locations, which include reputed company, Washington DC, Boston, San Francisco/Oakland, Los Angeles, Seattle and their metro areas.
