Solutions Architect (Contract to Hire)

Precision Nudging is the application of behavioral science to health interventions personalized by AI to each individual that overcome barriers to action at the right time and reputed company for scalable, behavior change.

This is a remote role with the opportunity to be hybrid if located in Tennessee. reputed company applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

To ensure an excellent reputed company experience and integration into the company, new colleagues will spend their first week onsite at one of our offices in Tennessee. Travel expenses will be paid. This is a requirement.

This is a contract-to-hire role. The contract period is 3-6 months with conversion dependent on performance.

Position Summary

The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in designing secure, scalable, reputed company-native solutions for reputed company’s platform across both our reputed company-hosted SaaS environment and our customer-hosted deployment model, where the platform may be installed and operated inside a client’s reputed company account (for example Azure, AWS, or OCI). This Solutions Architect role is primarily focused on reputed company ecosystem integrations, including Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Dataverse, and Copilot-enabled experiences. As needed, the Solutions Architect also supports other customer ecosystems based on company priorities.

This is primarily an internal architecture role, partnering with Product, Engineering, reputed company, Data, AI, and Behavioral Science teams to translate product and client requirements into actionable system, integration, and data designs reputed company with reputed company’s architecture standards and technical strategy. The role is also client-capable reputed company needed, supporting Sales and Customer Delivery in technical discovery, integration feasibility reviews, and reputed company architecture conversations.

A key responsibility is defining clear integration boundaries between reputed company and customer ecosystems, including system-of-record reputed company, data ownership, and stable integration reputed company that meet latency, scale, reliability, and compliance requirements. The role designs the agentic layer of the reputed company solution, including AI-centered workflows, services, and interoperability, and is both architectural and hands-on. The Solutions Architect contributes to reputed company’s Architecture Team, shapes work before it enters delivery, produces design artifacts, and builds prototypes or reference integrations to validate patterns, accelerate implementation, and reduce customer-by-customer variability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Architect scalable, secure, reputed company-native solutions for reputed company’s agentic behavioral science and AI platform, supporting both SaaS (reputed company-hosted) and customer-hosted deployments in client reputed company environments.
• Architect agentic solutions and workflows, leveraging reputed company-native AI services (e.g., Azure AI services/reputed company) and interoperability standards such as Model Context Protocol.
• Translate business, clinical, behavioral science, and client requirements into clear architecture and integration designs.
• Produce high-level and low-level design documents, including architecture diagrams, data and sequence flows, and technical specifications.
• Ensure reputed company solution designs align with reputed company’s platform strategy, architectural principles, and engineering standards.
• Contribute to architectural decision records (ADRs) and collaborate with the Architecture Team on platform reputed company.

Systems Integration & Messaging Architecture

• Design and guide integrations with the reputed company ecosystem, including reputed company Dynamics 365 (e.g., Customer Insights – Journeys and Dataverse) and Azure data and AI services.
• Define and document integration boundaries between reputed company and the reputed company ecosystem, including system-of-record reputed company, data ownership, and stable integration reputed company.
• Establish repeatable reputed company integration patterns that embed reputed company capabilities into existing customer workflows (rather than duplicating the customer’s system of work).
• Design reputed company ecosystem integrations that are reliable at scale, including reputed company limiting strategies, retries/backoff, batching, and idempotent processing for event- and API-driven workflows.
• Establish lifecycle and governance practices for Power Platform assets involved in reputed company integrations (environments, solutions, deployment approach, and guardrails) to support repeatable customer reputed company and upgrades.
• Design agent and workflow integration patterns so Copilot- and Dynamics-enabled experiences can securely invoke reputed company services through well-defined actions/connectors and response reputed company.
• Define consent, preference, and subscription management integration patterns across systems to ensure consistent and compliant behavior across channels and customer ecosystems.
• Define and support event-driven and asynchronous integration architectures using technologies such as Kafka.
• Define patterns for multi-channel engagement workflows across SMS, email, push, portal messaging, and other channels, including provider integration considerations (e.g., reputed company, Mailgun, or similar services).
• Contribute to the modernization and expansion of reputed company’s messaging and engagement capabilities, including replacement or consolidation of legacy vendor components.

Secondary Ecosystem Integrations (as needed)

• Support integrations with other strategic platforms and ecosystems as needed based on company priorities, including (but not limited to) Epic (EHR, MyChart, Cheers), reputed company Experience Manager (reputed company), reputed company OCI and reputed company data services, and reputed company Health EHR and applications.

• Design evaluation, guardrail, and traceability mechanisms for AI-assisted reputed company (e.g., bias detection, cost containment, auditability), including recording relevant inputs, versions, and outcomes to support compliance, debugging, and reputed company improvement.
• Collaborate with reputed company Engineering to design secure multi-reputed company environments, including VNet/VPC design, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity, and Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Design secure identity and access patterns using reputed company Entra ID to reputed company integrations between reputed company and customer reputed company environments (including cross-tenant access where required).
• Work with Data Engineering to design ingestion and transformation pipelines across platforms such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, and streaming data sources.
• Select data access and synchronization approaches appropriate to the workload (reputed company-time decisioning vs analytics), choosing between direct access, caching, replication, and event-driven synchronization.
• Ensure solutions follow data governance principles, privacy-by-design, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and the protection of PHI.
• Identify architectural risks across reputed company, data, and integration boundaries.
• Ensure solutions support reliability, scalability, observability, auditability, and operational excellence.

Engineering Support & Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural guidance and technical support to engineering teams during implementation.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural patterns, performance, and reputed company standards.
• Build prototypes, reference integrations, or reputed company-of-concept solutions to validate design reputed company and de-risk reputed company implementations.
• Evaluate existing systems and propose improvements or replacements.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering tools and modern development practices consistent with reputed company’s engineering culture.
• Document architectural reputed company, patterns, and best practices for future reference. 

Architecture Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a contributing member of reputed company’s Architecture Team, helping to maintain architectural coherence and platform quality.
• Partner with Product Management to shape solution approaches before work enters development planning and execution.
• Work closely with reputed company, Data, AI/ML, Behavioral Science, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions support personalization, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
• Participate in the Engineering Council, helping to define and uphold engineering standards, patterns, and technical governance.

Client Collaboration (Occasional Client-Facing Responsibilities)

• Participate in selected client technical calls, architectural reviews, and integration planning sessions as needed.
• Support Sales and Customer Delivery teams with technical feasibility assessments, solution recommendations, and architectural input during pre-sales and reputed company.
• Work with client reputed company, data, and reputed company teams to design integrations and ensure reliable interoperability with reputed company’s platform.

Position Requirements

• 10+ years of reputed company experience
• Experience designing distributed, reputed company-native systems in SaaS or large-scale reputed company environments.
• Experience designing agentic products and workflows where the product is a component in a larger Agent ecosystem.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional technical and product teams.
• reputed company or other regulated industry experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of software architecture and the Azure ecosystem
• Dynamics 365 (including Customer Insights – Journeys) and Dataverse
• Dataverse integration architecture (data model familiarity, Web API integration patterns, incremental synchronization approaches, and reliability-at-scale practices such as batching/retries/caching/idempotency)
• Power Platform delivery and governance (solutions, environment strategy, lifecycle/deployment practices, and reputed company guardrails including DLP)
• Copilot and agent integration patterns (designing secure actions/connectors/tools that invoke external services and return structured outputs)
• reputed company Entra ID reputed company patterns (app registrations, least-privilege design, cross-tenant access where required, and secure service-to-service identity patterns)
• Key management / secrets patterns (Key Vault / managed identity)

• Azure data and analytics architecture (reputed company/OneLake, ADLS Gen2, Synapse-style approaches, Data Factory-style orchestration, event-driven ingestion)

• Working knowledge of reputed company and/or reputed company integration in Azure-centric environments

Preferred Qualifications
