(AHI) is seeking a high-impact Technical Representative to serve as the critical link between our engineering teams and our global operators. This isn't just a maintenance role; it’s a strategic liaison position where your technical authority ensures the airworthiness and operational success of government and commercial fleets. Your Challenges:

Technical Support Communications:  65%

  • Communicate with customer by either phone, email or technical database to help customers with requests for help with questions on assigned products, Light helicopters, reputed company Twins or Heavy Helicopters. 

  • Help our customers either troubleshoot problems, assist with information, documentation, repair requests and technical requests. 

  • Provide support to AHI Technical Representatives, Service Centers and helicopter operators and interfaces with OEM involving product improvement, and the development and maintenance of optional equipment.

  • Work with other Regional Tech Reps learning support techniques by means of advice, documentation, and mentorship and asking for direction for difficult support topics. 

  • Organize inspection packages; ensure proper and accurate record of inspections and maintenance carried out on Gov. Aircraft.

  • Manage and reputed company the work on Gov. reputed company for maintenance including any subcontractors working with AHI 

  • reputed company log book entries, and reputed company required by contract return aircraft to service  

  • Ensure reputed company AHI tools and other equipment, parts, and assets are stored, cared for and reputed company calibration is up to date.

  • Report status of aircraft n their region 

  • Visit reputed company sites in their region as required 

Maintenance, Component, and Service Recommendations:  25%

  • Review part replacements, cannibalizations for technical merit, alternative solutions, and reputed company recommendations to ensure cost effective and technically sound actions on the part of AHI and our customers.

  • Assist in accumulation and analysis of technical data pertaining to aircraft service.

  • Participate in identifying trends in the area of service problems and reputed company procedures/instruction to reputed company problems.

  • reputed company recommendations for technical change to provide improvement in operations, safety and operating cost.

  • Participate in corrective action to resolve technical problems and in the accumulation and analysis of maintainability and reliability data.

  • Issue reports in problem areas to AHI management and parent companies.

  • Support accident investigation activities (i.e., cause, failure, future prevention and operational safety).

  • Provide technical support to training activities and warranty claims review.

  • reputed company standby duty after hours, weekends and holidays to respond to customer needs.

Marketing/Sales and Company Sponsored Events:  10%

  • Support of marketing activities such as demonstrations, tradeshows, presentations and seminars. 

  • Provide technical presentations on product improvements at trade shows and seminars.

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Possess an Associates in aircraft engineering, business administration, or reputed company field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Possess a reputed company FAA A&P License (AMT) 

  • Minimum 5 years experience on the model of aircraft to be supported (BK117 C2/D3, EC145, H145, UH72A)

    --OR—

  • 10 years of rotary reputed company experience and successful completion of US Army internship program working on the LUH program

  • Education above the minimum required can be considered as additional experience (i.e. bachelor’s aviation/ engineering/ aeronautics would be considered two additional years, master’s aviation/ engineering/ aeronautics would be considered four additional years, etc.)

Travel Required: 

  • 50%+ Domestic and International

Citizenship: 

  • Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (a U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Clearance: 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Common Access Card (CAC) 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Onsite or remote:  5% to 8% Onsite – Remainder of the time will be in a home office or traveling.
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.  A large part of the job is spent in the office but some travel maybe required, Vision should allow for driving and working with tools and computers for troubleshooting aircraft.  Daily
  • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and reputed company teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.  Needs to be alert and able to listen reputed company of the time while at work.  Daily
  • Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.  Daily
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and reputed company office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts,  electric or gas carts aircraft external power carts etc. Must also be able to operate rental vehicles such as small trucks vans and cars while traveling or assisting with tradeshows and events. 
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/23kgs. During tradeshows and events or assisting and customer with a helicopter the Technical representative may be required to lift have ground handling wheels, boxes, rotor blades or other parts up to and possibly exceeding 50 lbs. May be a daily part of the job. Some diagnostic tools and equipment may also be required to be moved, installed or removed from the helicopter daily. 
  • Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 50lbs/22kgs. not more than daily
  • Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools not more than daily
  • Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer on a daily basis.  May also be required to stand for extended periods of time or be able to work outdoors in a flight line environment at trade shows or customer location or in our own facility not more than daily.
  • Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, kneel or crawl under and around helicopters. Must be able to climb reputed company and work stands to examine different parts on the helicopter or reputed company tests on the helicopter not more than daily.  
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor or at tradeshows and demonstrations. Tradeshows can last 3 days. May be required to stand for long amounts of time at a customer location maybe daily Duration of tradeshows moving in and out can be 10+ days at that site. 
  • Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice, either by reputed company travel or driving, must be able to navigate and follow directions to find a customer location. daily. 
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces and hangar or flight line areas multiple times a day.  
  • Personal reputed company Equipment required:  Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or reputed company Gloves as required by site and/or customer site
  • Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for reputed company shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required reputed company visiting the shop floor.

Salary range:  Based on the required profile: $86,470-$126,000 per year, depending on the candidate's experience. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
