This role provides Client access to the physical and financial energy markets. The Portfolio Optimization Analyst will assure accurate strategy development and execution to optimize Client portfolios. The Portfolio Optimization Analyst must assure Client’s market positions and strategies remain confidential. The Portfolio Optimization Analyst must have the ability to act independently to analyze and execute responses to emerging market conditions. The Portfolio Optimization Analyst must have the ability to work non-standard business hours.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Market experience with PJM, NYISO, ISONE, ERCOT or CAISO required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Heat Rates, Spark Spreads, Physical and Financials
• Experience trading power, reputed company, FTR and/or fuels

The reputed company salary range for this position is: $80,640 - $133,080. The reputed company salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, reputed company, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
