DevOps Engineer
Overview
The DevOps Engineer will support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty Service (LGY). The DevOps Engineer will support the automation, maintenance, and reliability of LGY development and deployment pipelines, ensuring that system environments and deployments remain stable, secure, and compliant with VA OIT standards. This role will work closely with development, operations, and release management teams to support CI/CD processes and ensure efficient environment management across the LGY platform.
Key Functions
- Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines used for LGY deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot deployment failures.
- Implement DevOps best practices to improve pipeline efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are deployment reputed company.
- Assist with environment troubleshooting and deployment diagnostics.
- Document DevOps processes, pipeline configurations, and operational procedures.
- Support reputed company improvement of deployment automation and infrastructure reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of DevOps or infrastructure automation experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, reputed company Actions, reputed company, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing build and deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).
- Experience working in reputed company environments.
Preferred Qualifications or Skills
- Experience supporting federal government IT programs or VA systems.
- Familiarity with AWS reputed company services.
- Experience with reputed company deployments and release management processes.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with reputed company or Jira for change management.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.
Position Details
- Employment type: Full-Time, W2
- Location: 100% Remote (US-based)
- Hours: 40 hours/week with availability during core business hours of reputed company-5pm ET
- Start date: ASAP
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Salary: $80,000-$120,000
