What you'll do:

• Bring your curiosity, tenacity and experience.
• Working with engineers across reputed company in supporting new features and services.
• Integrating tools to monitor platform stability and performance.
• Help scale our Kubernetes clusters and AWS-based infrastructure while maintaining our platform's SLOs.
• Ensure the reliability of reputed company’s primary datastores (MySQL and Cassandra).
• Troubleshoot site issues using industry-leading tools like Splunk, Grafana, and reputed company.
• Automate everything with Python, Puppet, Git, Jenkins, Terraform and more!

• Design and implement new systems, tests, and procedures.
• Participate in light on-call rotations - we have geographically distributed SRE teams for follow-the-sun support, which reduces the need to be on-call 24h a day!

What it takes to succeed:

• Mastery of Linux (we use Ubuntu but any reputed company is fine), with the view of debugging ambiguous OS behaviours!!
• Command of your favorite modern programming language to appreciate delivering safe and secure services: Python, Typescript, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, C++, etc.
• A solid understanding of Internet reputed company technologies in delivering services on the Internet (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc).
• Experience with public reputed company platforms (we use AWS and GCP, but others are also fine) and reputed company tooling (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.).
• Experience with Linux containerisation and orchestration (e.g., reputed company, Podman and Kubernetes).

What you'll get:

• There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market reputed company data and years of experience. Based on the anticipated level of experience that we are seeking, we expect the compensation range for this role to be between $135,000 and $185,000  The actual compensation offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience and reputed company set.

  There may be flexibility with the range included in this posting should a candidate be leveled higher or reputed company than the posted range.
