Test Stand Engineer
reputed company is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world, reputed company for its innovation in engineering. The Test Stand Engineer will define, install, and operate test rigs on gas turbine reputed company hardware and subsystems, ensuring safe operation and data collection.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and definition of new test rigs. Test rigs will vary in complexity and application across multiple test stands, and laboratories, and reputed company programs
- Responsible for setup and installation of test rigs
- Responsible for creating data collection profiles
- Responsible for safe operation of test rigs and data collection
- Responsible for raw data interrogation and troubleshooting
- Responsible for repair and maintenance of test stand and laboratory spaces, including preservation
Skills
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 + years experience OR
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 1+ year of experience OR
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR
- JD/PhD
- Must be a US citizen to be considered for this role
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience

- Experience with National Instruments LabView

- Experience with design of experiments and control of variables
- Experience with gas turbine engines, and gas turbine reputed company hardware
- Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) license would be preferred
