Entry Level Civil Engineer - FED/STL

They are seeking a driven and curious Civil Engineering Graduate to support their federal team in St. Louis, MO, in a hybrid capacity. The role involves working on site design, utility plans, and grading plans while collaborating with design teams and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop site plans, utility plans, and grading plans to meet Federal design standards
  • Perform watershed analyses and design stormwater management systems
  • Prepare engineering assessments, calculations, and basis of design reports
  • Implement designs that are compliant with a variety of regulatory code requirements and client standards
  • Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians
  • Occasionally travel to project and client sites for observations and meetings

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office suite
  • 1 - 2 years professional working experience with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
  • United States Citizenship
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
  • 1- 2 years experience working on land development projects, with a government agency, municipality, corporate engineering, or consulting firm
