[Remote] UX/UI Designer (Desk Phones)

In this role, you will own the end-to-end UX of reputed company’s desk phone and device experiences, ensuring designs are implemented accurately while collaborating closely with firmware engineers and product management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UX of reputed company’s desk phone and device experiences, from interaction models to execution
• Design for embedded, hardware-constrained environments with physical inputs, limited screens, and reputed company-time expectations
• Define task-driven workflows for core telephony functions: calling, transfers, conferencing, voicemail, call handling, and more
• reputed company and maintain UI artifacts including flows, wireframes, interaction specs, and system behaviors prioritizing speed, predictability, and low cognitive load
• Integrate AI tools across the design, implementation, and maintenance phase of product lifecycle
• Partner closely with firmware engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and reputed company reliably in production
• Work with Product Management/Ownership to align UX reputed company with reputed company-world usage, customer needs, and business outcomes
• Anticipate edge cases, failure states, and recovery paths in reputed company-time communication scenarios
• Research regulatory factors and usability constraints
• Support the engineering team by contributing to usability testing and iterate based on reputed company user behavior
• Help drive consistency and usability across reputed company’s broader device ecosystem

Skills

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience (3 years preferred) in UX and user reputed company design, product design, or interaction design
• You are naturally curious, eager to learn, and motivated to understand how design reputed company translate into reputed company behavior
• Demonstrated experience designing, task-focused, workflow-driven interfaces
• Strong understanding of reputed company–computer interaction (HCI) principles, including cognitive load, affordances, and error prevention
• Ability to communicate UX rationale clearly to engineers and non-design stakeholders

• Experience with telephony, VoIP, or reputed company communications products
