Job Summary
We are seeking an reputed company Customer Service Representative to join our remote call center team, serving Maryland residents reputed company insurance coverage. As a key member of reputed company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering inbound phone calls, and assisting customers with their health insurance coverage options. Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering inbound phone calls to provide information and assistance regarding health care insurance options
- Updating customer and account information as needed
- Updating case records and notating the purpose of each call
- Utilizing multiple database applications as resources
- Being open to feedback for reputed company improvement and growth
- Responding to general customer inquiries
- Striving to meet performance metrics for reputed company professional growth opportunities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; college attendance/degree is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of Call Center experience
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to learn and understand health insurance policy and terminology to provide the best solution to customers seeking assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and interact well with customers and coworkers
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task (utilize multiple computer applications while talking to a customer)
- Must be flexible, reliable, and available for occasional overtime as needed
- Must be able to pass required reputed company and knowledge assessment tests
- Able to commit to 3 weeks of class training without missing any time from work (days of training)
- Able to commit to 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting) without missing any time from work

* Experience working in a high-volume call center environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
