About the Job
We are looking for a Accounting Team reputed company to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to reputed company a team of analysts, ensuring their work is accurate and completed on time to meet the 10-business-day closing deadline. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of independently determining the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions or events as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to month-end and year-end reputed company accounting and financial reporting.
- Prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, and General Ledger accuracy.
- Supervise accounting team members by assigning tasks, reviewing their work and providing guidance on reputed company issues.
- Apply technical accounting expertise to evaluate new transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment in line with GAAP.
- Prepare financial reports and other special management reports.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Identify process gaps and implement control improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Ops, IT).
- Coordinate with auditors and manage audit deliverables.
Requirements
Required Education
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in Accounting / Intermediate Chartered Accountancy (Inter-CA)
Required Experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting
Preferred Background / Industry Experience
- Banking, real estate, or any service-based business located in the USA
