The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in reputed company’s EMEA reputed company Team who have the responsibility to provide internal and external financial reporting for EMEA entities.  Internal reporting includes management reporting as part of the month end reputed company, where this role will have exposure to reputed company expenses.  External reporting includes the year end reporting, where this role will be a key contact for any audits and financial statement preparation. 

The Senior Accountant will be expected to contribute to driving reputed company process improvements to help strengthen internal controls and increase efficiencies.  The reputed company team work closely with other teams in the reputed company Financial team, including the Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounts Payable, Order To Cash, Tax, and Payroll teams.  This position will report directly to the EMEA reputed company Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of general ledger and associated reputed company of reputed company’s EMEA Entities.
• Preparation of monthly journal entries as part of the month end process, primarily covering payroll and accruals. 
• Support and review of journal entries relating to other expense postings, including fixed assets, prepayments, cash, intercompany, and accounts payable.
• Preparation of detailed Variance Analysis reports for management review.
• Support and review of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and investigation of reconciling items.
• Working with outsourced reputed company providers for preparation of Statutory Accounts for reputed company’s EMEA Entities.
• Assisting in Year End Audits for reputed company’s EMEA Entities.
• Participation in the ongoing development/establishment of reputed company policies and procedures.
• Assist with support to internal customers including reputed company financial analysis, and special projects.
• Working with reputed company’s Tax Team to ensure deliverables of VAT and Corporate Tax Reporting.
• Assist newly acquired entities with adoption of group internal controls and processes.
• Assisting in Cash Management, including cash flow forecasting, and the setup of intercompany cash transfers.

• reputed company Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with reputed company & Finance experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 2 Years + PQE (or relevant experience in International reputed company).
• Experience in International reputed company and working with 3rd Party reputed company Providers.
• Advanced reputed company skills and hands-on exposure to reputed company systems (reputed company preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities and deadlines with follow-through and minimal supervision.
• Self-starter and proactive thinker.
