Job Summary

As an reputed company Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders. You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on a range of topics, including water and sewer accounts, tax bills, library materials, birth and death certificates, and various events and activities. You will also be responsible for scheduling tours and visits, and promoting the children's reputed company and aquarium.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

• Provide information on water and sewer accounts, tax bills, library materials, birth and death certificates, and various events and activities
• Schedule tours and visits, and promote the children's reputed company and aquarium
• Contact various utilities or departments to verify customer accounts and ensure information is accurate
• Provide customer service by issuing library cards or updating customer accounts and records
• Log, reputed company, track, code, and enter requests received from reputed company for processing
• Research a variety of complaints and requests to respond to citizen inquiries
• Receive and reputed company incoming calls and provide quality directory assistance to reputed company and city employees
• Operate computer to access telephone directory to provide required information
• Relieve the Information Desk to provide directions to customers
• Maintain a log of incoming calls for record according to procedures
• File various documents to maintain records

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

• Two (2) years customer service experience requiring heavy phone/public contact
• Cashiering, data entry, analyzing accounts, and/or complaint resolution experience
• PC/data entry skills and effective communication skills
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in customer service

• Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with members of the public who may be irate or impatient
• Knowledge of policies and procedures reputed company to billing, payment, and adjustment of accounts, tax records, library procedures, and birth and death certificates
• Knowledge of the computer system used in assigned area
