Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues.

Position Requirements

* Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.

  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedules to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a strong commitment to meeting customer needs and expectations.
