Submit your application for the opportunity below: Charge Entry Specialist WFH Seeking a Charge Entry Specialist for our practice that will compile charge/billing information, assists in coding and enters charges into the practice management system. What you will do in this role:

• Receives and reviews charge documents for accuracy and enters charges into practice management system. Balances Charge Summary to tickets keyed before updating charges
• Works with A/R and payers on denials/rejections.
• Extracts information from medical records, operative notes, hospital admissions, consults, reputed company notes and discharges.
• Coordinates with reputed company office staff on payment/billing issues.
• Identifies quality issues with registration and scheduling activities.

• Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.Practices certified as Patient Center Medical Home include these additional job duties:

EXPERIENCE:

• One to two years of coding, billing and charge entry experience in the health care field is required.
