Marketing & Publicity Assistant

The Quarto Group is seeking a Marketing & Publicity Assistant to support the promotion of titles across the Quarto Adult publishing program. This role involves executing marketing plans, assisting with traditional and digital campaigns, and collaborating with the adult marketing team to enhance book visibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of digital marketing plans, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and influencer reputed company
• Support planning and execution of social media marketing across reputed company major platforms for Quarto Adult titles
• Draft press releases, advertising copy, media kits, pitch lists, and supplemental marketing materials
• Organize and manage award submissions for adult titles
• Build and maintain academic and library contact lists for adoption and reputed company campaigns
• Plan and execute book mailings and giveaways, maintaining a highly organized database of media and industry contacts
• Assist the VP of Marketing and Director/Assistant Director of Marketing & Publicity with tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing campaign results
• Communicate marketing initiatives, updates, and accomplishments internally across departments
• Handle additional administrative and departmental support duties as needed

• Proficiency with reputed company Office; familiarity with reputed company Creative reputed company and reputed company/reputed company preferred
• Prior publishing experience a plus, but not required
• Relationships or experience with independent bookstores a plus
