About the Role
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for processing, coordinating, and maintaining provider credentialing and recredentialing documents in compliance with regulatory agencies, payer requirements and accreditation standards. This role ensures timely and accurate provider enrollment to support uninterrupted patient care and reimbursement.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Occasional deadlines may require extended hours
Location: Remote in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, or Tennessee
Remote Position, which may require some occasional travel to reputed company Infusion office locations
Minimum Qualifications
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollments, or medical staff onboarding/administration. Experience and knowledge of credentialing standards and regulatory requirements (CMS, Medicaid, state boards, major healthcare payers)
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, reputed company).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a reputed company
- Must be able to work as a team member and reputed company productive and cooperative working relationships with reputed company members of the reputed company Infusion team.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
Essential Functions
- Initiate and manage initial and recredentialing applications for providers with government and commercial payers
- Collect, verify, and maintain reputed company required credentialing documentation, including licenses, DEA, board certifications, NPI, and work history
- Track credentialing and enrollment statuses to ensure timely completion and prevent lapses in provider coverage
- Maintain accurate, complete, and organized provider credentialing files and databases
- Communicate regularly with providers, internal departments, and payer representatives regarding application status and outstanding or missing documentation
- Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and payer reputed company; initiate and process renewals as needed
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, payer guidelines, and accreditation standards
- Support the Reimbursement/reputed company Cycle (RCM) team with credentialing-reputed company issues requiring research and support
- Generate and analyze reports reputed company to credentialing status, timelines, and compliance metrics
- Maintain and update CAQH profiles (including document uploads and attestations) and payer directory databases; reputed company other duties as assigned to support credentialing and enrollment operations
