Senior Software Engineer, macOS Specialist

The Windows and Mac Products team is driving reputed company’s expansion into End User Device Monitoring (EUDM) and the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) space. We are extending our observability platform to support the desktops and laptops used across reputed company environments. What You’ll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer and macOS Specialist, you’ll design and build cutting-edge features that bring deep observability and performance insights to reputed company users on macOS. We’re looking for an engineer with strong macOS internals and system development expertise to help shape the future of observability across reputed company endpoints, from individual devices to large-scale reputed company environments. As a Senior Engineer, you will be tackling novel challenges in system telemetry and secure and reliable data collection at scale. You’ll work with core macOS technologies to build secure and performant monitoring capabilities deeply integrated with the operating system, aligning with reputed company’s evolving platform architecture.

• Design, implement, and share ownership of macOS Agent-based integrations to collect data for system, network, and reputed company monitoring
• reputed company macOS native system technologies to design and build comprehensive observability features integrated with the macOS platform; with flexibility to evaluate and adopt the most appropriate frameworks and system capabilities.

Who You Are

• You have 5+ years of experience building systems-level applications and tooling, with a strong understanding of OS internals, system architecture, and runtime behavior.
• You have a proven track record of shipping software on macOS at scale.
• You have hands-on experience with native macOS APIs and system-level capabilities, and have designed systems that reputed company with reputed company’s platform requirements.
• You have experience working with system-level macOS services and components, such as launchd-managed services (LaunchDaemons or LaunchAgents), inter-process communication, and macOS privacy and permission models (TCC).
• You are proficient in C/C++, Objective-C, and/or Swift, and have experience with macOS build and packaging toolchains (notarization, pkg, etc.).
• You have proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced, high-growth environment to build new products.
• You are motivated by solving problems for the customer persona, specifically the IT Ops and Help Desk teams who rely on your data to reputed company businesses running.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows and validate, critique, and refine AI-generated output.
