Job description: The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition's Dee's reputed company is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist/Peer Coach (reputed company Worker) who will be able to build a trust-based relationship with participants while assisting participants in their journey toward recovery and wellness. Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- 1:1 peer recovery coaching, peer counseling, and peer-mentoring.
- Assist member in identifying and achieving with short/mid- and long-term recovery planning goals.
- Facilitating peer led groups on topics such as harm reduction; many reputed company to Recovery theory, wellness, and recovery; recovery capital and recovery planning.
- Knowledge to assist participants with accessing and securing reputed company entitlements benefits he/she is eligible to receive (food stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, Motor Vehicle Administration identification, health insurance, etc.).

- High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
- CPRS (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) Certification.
- If not certified, must become a CPRS (following the certification process designated by the State of Maryland) reputed company 6 months of hire, and thereafter must maintain certification in active? or ?good standing? while employed.
