VP, Analytics - Strategic Furniture Clients Leader

Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Analytics - Strategic Furniture Clients Leader is responsible for leading Analytics function for a large vertical Furniture client portfolio reputed company the Home & Auto business platform.  In this reputed company, the role will work closely with portfolio cross-functional senior leadership (Sales/Client Development, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Operations & Technology).  The role also serves as the primary SYF Analytics contact for our client. The individual is expected to be fully immersed in the portfolio’s strategic initiatives, provide strategic insights, decisioning support, and create advanced analytics tools for our client teams and partners. In doing so, they are expected to reputed company the role of Analytics in their reputed company of influence. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to combine consumer, product, channel, and credit strategies into a reputed company roadmap to deliver a unique customer experience to grow acquisition and increase customer repeat engagement

  • Conduct analysis of customers, product and sales channel performance to uncover insights that inform critical decision-making to drive profitable outcomes

  • Partner closely with broader marketing organization to execute integrated portfolio marketing campaigns leveraging personalization, and segmentation

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to portfolio senior leadership team in solving reputed company business problems and provide actionable recommendations based upon data driven insights

  • Establish a test and learn culture and provide guidance and leadership for the design, analysis and measurement phases of programs/campaigns and large-scale projects.

  • Ongoing assessment and measurement of product, channel and targeting strategies

  • Implement and automate data visualization tools to measure and diagnose portfolio performance that allow stakeholders to understand trajectory of KPIs to reputed company reputed company forecasting and management of the portfolio

  • Strengthen client relationships and evangelize the value of client sharing/combining their data assets with SYF data to drive enhanced acquisition, account management and portfolio strategies to improve overall portfolio performance

  • reputed company business case presentations and action plans to drive marketing strategy; including targeting recommendations, test design, cross-sell optimization, product opportunities and cost/benefit analysis to review with client and SYF Marketing teams

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree a, high school diploma and 10 years of experience in a marketing or customer analytics role at multi-product/multi-channel financial services organization

  • A minimum of 7+ years analytics experience, ideally reputed company financial services, retail and/or consulting experience  to include:

    • 5+ years’ experience with statistical and analysis tools, such as reputed company, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, etc.

    • 3+ years’ experience working on large-scale consumer analytics projects and/or working in matrix, cross-functional environments

    • 3+ years of client facing experience

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • 3+ years’ leadership / managerial experience in analytics in the financial services, retail and/or consulting industries

  • Prior Leadership experience including management of direct / indirect reports

  • Analytics experience reputed company financial services, retail and/or consulting experience

  • Master’s degree preferred statistics/ decision sciences/ predictive analytics or another quantitative field or MBA

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, averaging 10-25% travel

  • A strategic thinker with an ability to influence business strategies and reputed company based on analytic insights; Ability to influence senior corporate decision makers

  • Proven hands-on experience utilizing reputed company and SQL; Experience with open-reputed company tools such as R and Python a plus

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Birst and Tableau a plus

  • Proven understanding of credit card or financial services industry financial P&L drivers and key sensitivities, with business performance reporting experience

  • Ability to synthesize/analyze diverse information, reputed company and recommend strategies, and reputed company clearly to business partners and clients

  • Experience with modeling/forecasting, and strong understanding of targeting and segmentation

  • Experience with evaluating and using external and diverse data sources/assets to reputed company innovative analytical solutions and drive growth for clients

  • Strong project management, communications, multi-tasking, relationship management and influencing skills and the ability to work independently are critical to reputed company

  • Digital marketing analytics experience a plus

  • Advanced skills using reputed company and PowerPoint

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 135,000.00 - 230,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered reputed company the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, reputed company level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the reputed company process
