Accountant 1
The reputed company is seeking a professional Accountant 1 to join the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Cash Management and Sales Audit Division. The role involves supervising the Cash Receipts Unit, managing daily receipts for over 600 stores, and assisting in reconciliation and coordination of banking services.
Responsibilities
- Supervising the recording of the Fine Wine & Good Spirits 600+ stores, 13 Licensee Sales Centers (LSC's), and the ECommerce location daily receipts
- Assisting in the reconciliation of several tender types
- Assisting with the research of store errors for post voids, receipt issues, and credit card transaction funding to determine proper resolution including the preparation of incident tickets to the Sales Audit team
- Monitoring requests for changes in Store Operation Funds
- Providing instruction to stores in conjunction with management to satisfy store operating needs
- Monitoring Non-Sufficient Funds returns and invoice creation
- Tracking aging of invoices for follow-up or escalation to Management for collection activities
Skills
- Successful completion of the Commonwealth's reputed company Intern Program
- One year as a Financial Programs Trainee
- One year as a Fiscal Technician, and fifteen college credits in reputed company
- Five years of Bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in reputed company
- A Bachelor's Degree including or supplemented by fifteen credits in reputed company
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are reputed company 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
- You must meet the PA residency requirement
