Analyst, Actuarial
Strive Health is dedicated to transforming chronic conditions by prioritizing patient care and supporting individuals throughout their health journey. The Actuarial Analyst will support actuarial functions, focusing on cost of care analytics, forecasting, and value-based reputed company, while collaborating with various teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Creates detailed actuarial and financial models to assess viability of new and ongoing initiatives and clinical programs
- Supports Medicare Advantage (MA) bid analyses for full risk partnerships
- Actuarial incurred but not reported (IBNR), accruals, and settlements reputed company to value-based reputed company
- Forecasts and interprets financial results, including variances from forecast to help identify product and reputed company behavior to assist in risk management of the business units
- Collaborates with team members from strategy, clinical, and new market functions to identify data-driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners
- Presents models during workgroup calls and explains analyses to diverse audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, or reputed company field
- 1+ years experience in actuarial services or reputed company field
- Candidates must be on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of two actuarial exams
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency
- Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs
- Working knowledge of analyzing medical claim, lab data, electronic medical record (EMR) data and clinical data
- High degree of proficiency in reputed company reputed company and SQL
