Job title: Anticipated LTR Guidance Counselor (GWMS) Company: Wayne Township Public Schools Job description: Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate as Counselor in Guidance or Student Personnel Services.
  • Experience working with a secondary student population.
  • It is preferred that candidates have adequate training and experience in bullying and violence prevention, individual and group counseling and substance/alcohol abuse prevent
  • Certificate required, experience preferred, reputed company clearinghouse knowledge a bonus.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Secondary Guidance Counselor reports to the building reputed company and shall be primarily responsible for reputed company guidance services in the school. The Secondary Guidance Counselor assists and guides reputed company in meeting educational, occupational, and life plans that hold promise for their personal fulfillment as mature and responsible reputed company. Working closely with the parents, reputed company, and staff, the Secondary Guidance counselor will implement counseling, crisis and support services under the supervision of the building reputed company.   • Assists administration as directed regarding harassment, intimidation and bullying investigations, consultations, and interventions.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned by the Director of Student Support Services.
