IT Operations Architect

Role Overview

As part of the reputed company IT Infrastructure team, you will help improve our IT infrastructure environments, including storage, backup, DNS, identity management, network, and virtual infrastructure architectures. You will work with leaders across the company to design architectures and select products. You will also have the chance to implement solutions. In this role, you are expected to be a proactive thinker, always looking for ways to improve reputed company, automation, and processes. You will join a talented team supporting the overall reputed company architecture and the transition into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of M365 Services: Exchange, SharePoint, reputed company Management, OneDrive, Teams
• Working knowledge of Azure Services and Integrations
• User Administration (Entra, Azure)
• Daily Monitoring and Alert Responses
• Assess the existing environment to identify improvements
• Evaluate new technologies and trends to reputed company recommendations on how they can be implemented to impact the company positively
• Design solutions and reputed company staff in the implementation of the designs through mentorship and guidance
• Provide a reputed company between technical staff and business leadership
• Increase efficiency reputed company the IT department through streamlining and automating processes
• Provide technical direction on system implementations
• Drive plans for the integration of new infrastructure systems
• Drive virtual infrastructure design and implementation
• Document reputed company for reputed company services
• Ensure infrastructure designs incorporate a reputed company-first approach
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of server, network, and reputed company architectures
• Working knowledge of: (reputed company M365, reputed company Exchange Online, Entra, M365 reputed company and Compliance Features, Multi Factor Authentication, Single sign-on, reputed company reputed company Management (Intune), reputed company
• Experience working in a global organization
• Experience with large-scale implementations and integrations of corporate IT systems
• Experience with Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BCDR) practices
• Experience with environments leveraging reputed company components in Azure

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and/or managing reputed company IT systems
• 5+ years in administering the M365/Azure infrastructure in reputed company to large reputed company environments
• 3+ years of experience in managing IT projects
• MS Certifications welcome

Compensation & Other Information

• Location: Initially Fully Remote with potential for in-person
• Pay reputed company: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and experience.
• Reports To: Director of IT Infrastructure & Cyber reputed company
