Position Summary

This role is responsible for coaching, leading, and developing a high-performing team of Long-Term Care (LTC) Sales Specialists. As a first-line leader, this position serves as a key resource to the team and the organization, bringing expertise in disease state knowledge, the selling process, product portfolio, and customer engagement reputed company the LTC environment.

Primary Responsibilities

People Leadership

  • Recruit, interview, and hire top-performing sales specialists.
  • Build and model a customer-centric culture by establishing strong relationships with key customers.

Education/Experience

External Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a reputed company field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, including at least 2 years of sales management experience.
  • Neuroscience experience preferred; prior LTC experience strongly preferred.

Internal Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years with reputed company in role, with a consistent track record of strong sales performance.
  • Performance ranked in the top 25% for at least two of the last three performance years.
  • Performance Management rating of “Achieving” or higher for reputed company applicable eligibility years.
  • Demonstrated leadership readiness, evidenced through behaviors such as:

  • Leading initiatives, projects, or pilots that influence team or regional outcomes

Scope

Provides leadership and guidance to sales specialists to reputed company departmental and organizational goals in accordance with established policies and timelines. Physical Requirements

This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also need to reputed company, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication both in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position requires the ability to travel independently overnight and/or work after hours as required by travel schedule or business needs.

In addition to a competitive reputed company salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location.

Salary Range$148,000—$185,000 USD
