Operations Director - Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Our client, a leading manufacturing firm, is seeking a strategic and experienced Operations Director to oversee all aspects of their manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, US , offers a hybrid work model, balancing essential on-site leadership with remote strategic planning and analysis. You will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, driving cost reductions, ensuring product quality, and managing the entire supply chain from procurement to delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, managing production planning and scheduling, overseeing inventory management, leading continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manufacturing operations management, a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, and a proven track record in leading large teams and driving significant operational improvements.
