  • Role Overview: As a Network Engineer within the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for executing complex network migrations and configuration changes for enterprise-level clients. You will serve as a technical lead during project implementations, ensuring that network transitions are performed securely, accurately, and within defined maintenance windows.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Network Migration & Configuration: Perform large-scale remote configuration changes on routers and switches to facilitate data center exits or network transitions.
  • Infrastructure Updates: Execute migrations for Client WAN connections, including NAT space updates, VPN head-end transitions, and MPLS device configurations.
  • Compliance & Security: Conduct bulk compliance and vulnerability configuration updates across numerous device groups.
  • Access Control & Monitoring: Implement updates for network monitoring tools and authentication systems, such as Clearpass.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and review step-by-step Methods of Procedure (MOP), update logical network diagrams, and maintain addressing spreadsheets.
  • Validation & Testing: Execute post-implementation validation tests to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring service stability following changes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven background in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches in a large enterprise environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in VPN gateways, MPLS networks, and Network Address Translation (NAT).
  • Process Oriented: Familiarity with formal Change Management frameworks and the ability to strictly follow a Method of Procedure (MOP).
  • Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients via conference bridges and email.
