Video Editor – Film Studio (DaVinci Resolve Expert) + After FX Compositor

Video Editor – DaVinci Resolve + Sound Mixing + Color Grading Expert Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor who is not only fluent in DaVinci Resolve for editing and color grading but also proficient in sound mixing and audio post-production. This is a hands-on role focused on crafting polished, professional video content for YouTube, websites, and social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Edit high-quality video content using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring clean cuts, pacing, and storytelling. ✅ Perform advanced color grading for visual consistency and cinematic style. ✅ Execute sound mixing and basic audio post-production to ensure crisp, balanced sound. ✅ Integrate voiceovers, music, and effects while managing audio levels and clarity. ✅ Collaborate with producers, directors, and on-set staff to align visuals and audio with project goals. ✅ Organize and manage media assets efficiently throughout the post-production workflow. ✅ Export and optimize content for distribution across platforms (YouTube, web, and social). ✅ Stay updated with editing and audio trends, plugins, and best practices. After Effects, Compositing & Graphic Design: ✅Create and oversee motion graphics including lower thirds, title sequences, overlays, and transitions ✅Use Adobe After Effects for animation, compositing, and broadcast graphics ✅ Design graphics aligned with brand guidelines using tools like Illustrator and Photoshop ✅ Prepare and deliver graphics for live switching (including alpha channels, key/fill workflows, and proper export formats) ✅ Build reusable graphic packages and templates for consistent show branding ✅ Ensure all graphics are optimized for different formats (broadcast, social, livestream) ✅ Collaborate with editors and switchers to integrate graphics seamlessly into live and recorded productions ✅ Maintain clean, professional motion design that enhances — not distracts from — the content Qualifications: ✅ Proven experience as a video editor and after fx compositing with a strong portfolio of professional work. ✅ Expert-level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including editing, color grading, and audio tools. ✅ Solid knowledge of sound mixing, EQ, compression, and audio cleanup. ✅ Motion graphics experience (DaVinci Fusion or Adobe After Effects). ✅ Strong understanding of codecs, file formats, and exporting for various platforms. ✅ Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines. ✅ Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
