Responsibilities

  • Assist with federal procurement activities, including contract drafting, review, and management using platforms like DocuSign and ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce.
  • Support vendor management processes by maintaining accurate records, conducting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Manage contractual documentation, including proposals, pricing strategies, and legal documents related to UCC law and intellectual property law.
  • Conduct research on federal contracting policies, UCC law, and other relevant legal frameworks to inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations by preparing documents, reviewing terms for compliance, and supporting change management initiatives.
  • Oversee records management tasks to ensure all contract files are organized, accessible, and up-to-date in accordance with federal standards.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to assist in proposal writing, strategic planning, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or contract administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), UCC law, and compliance management practices.
  • Familiarity with document review processes and legal drafting related to contracts and intellectual property law.
  • Experience using Salesforce, ERP systems like PeopleSoft or similar platforms such as DocuSign for contract execution.
  • Excellent research skills combined with technical writing ability for proposal development and strategic documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a remote work setting.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with experience in contractor management and business development initiatives.
