About the position Design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drive customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle Cloud services. May gather requirements and translate business needs into solutions. Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting. Support customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. May create and distribute technical assets. Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. May identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. May telecommute.

Responsibilities

• Design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems.
• Drive customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle Cloud services.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into solutions.
• Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
• Support customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training.
• Create and distribute technical assets.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
• Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by eight years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Cloud Solution Engineer-related occupation.
• Programming Languages, including Java
• J2EE, HTML, DHTML, JSP, and Servlet
• Oracle Database and MSSQL Server
• Development Tools including, Oracle Jdeveloper, Eclipse, and Visual Studios
• Identity and Access Management Solution Products, including Active Directory, Oracle Identity Manager, and RSA Access Manager
• Weblogic Server and WebSphere
• Mainframe Security including RACF, TopSecret, or ACF2
• Network and Firewall
• SSL
• Solution Design and Architecture
